2009 SWIMMING POOL

Welcome to the Lomira Pool.  Our pool is staffed by certified instructors/guards who take pride in offering you quality lessons as well as a safe environment in which to swim.

Philosophy:  Our philosophy at the Lomira Pool is to give students a positive learning experience in the aquatic environment.  Our goal is to help each student attain their highest potential in swimming - to learn and refine all strokes, to become strong swimmers, and to understand and practice personal safety and basic rescue techniques.  It is important to us that each swimmer's needs are individually met.  We will continue to individualize and adapt content in order to instill success for all swimmers.  Students will receive the certificate which best represents their level of successful achievement.  We highly encourage people of all ages to learn to swim "now."

Opening:    Saturday & Sunday, June 6th & 7th  (Closed June 8-9)

                      Will open June 10th at 1:00 P.M. for the season

Hours:         Monday - Friday:  1:00 - 4:30 & 6:15 - 7:30 P.M.

                      Saturday:  1:00 - 4:30 P.M.

                      Sunday:   1:00 - 4:45 & 6:00 - 7:30 P.M.

    Hours subject to change and contingent on weather & number of swimmers in pool.

Lessons:     Session 1:  June 15 - June 26

                       Session 2:  June 29 - July 10

                       Session 3:  July 13 - July 24

                       Session 4:  July 27 - August 7

                       Session 5:  (Tentative, based on requests)  August 10 - August 21

    Please use personal discretion regarding attending lessons if the weather is storming, heavy rain, or

    below 60 degrees.

    For cancellations, please call 269-2529.

    You will be guaranteed 8 lessons, but will receive 10 if there are no cancellations.

Lesson Times:  10:00 to 10:40;  10:45 to 11:25;  12:10 to 12:45;

                               5:00 to 5:30;  5:35 to 6:05

Lessons available for toddlers through adults.

    Prices:  Lessons - $30

                    Passes:  Daily  $2.25 & Evening  $1.00

                    Ages 2 - 3  $0.50;  Ages 1 and under - Free

    Season Passes:  In the village of Lomira - Family $65;  Single $40

                                     Outside the village - Family $70;  Single $45

                                     Replacement cards  $0.50
