LOMIRA VILLAGE BOARD 2010 PROPOSED BUDGET HEARING DECEMBER 2, 2009
This hearing was called to order by Pr. Luedtke at 7:15 PM. Roll call showed five members present, Tr. Gornjak was absent and there is one vacancy. Also present were Sandra Neuendorf, Leroy Stasson and Brian Koll.
The purpose for this public hearing was to allow comment on the budget proposed for 2010. No citizens had any comments on the budget.
Moved by Tr. Born, seconded by Tr. Gilson, to adjourn the hearing. Motion carried.

This meeting was called to order by Pr. Luedtke at 7:30 PM. Roll call showed five members present, Tr. Gornjak was absent and there is one vacancy. Also present were Sandra Neuendorf, Leroy Stasson, Brian Koll and Joel Nisleit from the Dodge County Pionier.
Moved by Pr. Luedtke, seconded by Tr. Schraufnagel, to approve the minutes from the previous meetings as read. Motion carried.
Moved by Tr. Gilson, seconded by Tr. Born, to approve payment of the November bills in the following amounts: General Fund $131,998.75 and Utility Fund $37,089.82. Motion carried.
The Director of Public Works Report was given and discussed.
Moved by Tr. Schroeder, seconded by Tr. Gilson, to adopt Resolution No. 846B, Adopting 2010 Budget, as presented. Motion carried on a unanimous roll call vote.
Moved by Pr. Luedtke, seconded by Tr. Born, to adopt Resolution No. 847, Setting Tax Levy and Mill Rate, as presented. Motion carried on a unanimous roll call vote.
Moved by Tr. Schraufnagel, seconded by Pr. Luedtke, to approve the Joint Powers Agreement for County 911 Emergency System, as presented. Motion carried.
Committee reports were given and discussed.

This meeting was called to order by Pr. Luedtke at 7:30 PM. Roll call showed six members present and there is one vacancy. Also present were Sandra Neuendorf, Carrie Hengeveld, Brian Koll and Joel Nisleit from the Dodge County Pionier.
Moved by Tr. Gornjak, seconded by Tr. Schraufnagel, to approve the minutes from the previous meetings as read. Motion carried.
Moved by Pr. Luedtke, seconded by Tr. Schraufnagel, to hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at 7:00 PM to hear public comment on a possible sewer rate increase. Motion carried.
The board discussed two proposals for computers and servers for the new municipal building. Both of the proposals will need additional information provided before a decision can be made. Moved by Tr. Born, seconded by Tr. Schroeder, to table any purchase of computers and networking equipment until the next meeting. Motion carried.
Moved by Tr. Gilson, seconded by Tr. Born, to approve Certificate for Payment #8 to Gilbert Construction in the amount of $359,678.37, but withhold the payment until Mr. McCardell, the attorney for Gilbert Construction, complies with the stipulations set forth in Atty. Phil Eckert’s letter dated Dec. 11, 2009, and to approve immediate payment of the direct purchase items in the amount of $67,369.54. Motion carried (5 ayes, 1 nay).
Moved by Tr. Schraufnagel, seconded by Tr. Gornjak, to approve the election officials for 2010-2011 as follows: Ardell Priest, Patricia Zimmerman, Violet King, Loraine Weyer, Lila Ebert, Janice Haefs, Gwen Hinz, Sylvia Waas, Ann Kreuser, Daniel Kahlhammer and Robert Zimmerman. Motion carried.
