DOG LICENSE NOTICE TO LOMIRA VILLAGE RESIDENTS

            Dog licenses must be obtained from the Village Clerk’s Office by April 1, 2010, for dogs 5 months of age, or older, which are kept in the village.  License fees are $5 and $10.  Dog owners obtaining licenses after April 1^st for dogs that were 5 months or older before that date will be subject to a $5 late fee.  Dogs that become 5 months of age after April 1^st and dogs brought into the village will also need a license, but will not be subject to the late fee if licensed WITHIN 30 DAYS.  State law also REQUIRES that all dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, and PROOF OF THAT VACCINATION MUST BE SHOWN TO OBTAIN A LICENSE.  For further information, contact your veterinarian.
